I can definitely see the parallels between the riots in Tale of Two Cities (that&#039;s one Dickens novel I love!) and this one.

I&#039;ve read The Haunting of Hill House, and I don&#039;t think it even comes close to the magic of this one, although I know a lot of readers disagree.  Jackson just captured Merrikat&#039;s voice so perfectly I almost can&#039;t stand it.</description>
